About this Course
This course introduces you to the fundamental concepts of data science in order to prepare you for intermediate and advanced data science courses. It focuses on the basic mathematics, statistics, and programming skills required for typical data analysis tasks.
These fundamental concepts will be applied to an example data clustering task, and you will use this example to learn basic programming skills required for mastering Data Science techniques. Throughout the course, you will be required to complete a number of mathematical and programming exercises, as well as a small data clustering project for a given dataset.
