About this Course
The missing link between model-based process analysis and data-oriented analysis techniques is process mining. The course provides data science knowledge that can be applied directly to analyse and improve processes in a variety of domains by using concrete data sets and simple software.
Data science is the profession of the future, because organizations that are unable to use (big) data in a smart way will not survive. The course explains the key process mining analysis techniques. Participants will gain knowledge of various process discovery algorithms. These can be used to learn process models automatically from raw event data. Other process analysis techniques that make use of event data will be discussed. Furthermore, the course will provide simple software, real-world data sets, and practical skills for applying theory in a variety of application domains.
