The purpose of the Diploma in Learning and Development is to provide learners with the practical knowledge, skills and abilities to prepare, design, deliver, assess and improve learning and development that works for the organisation.
During the course, candidates will learn how to evaluate organisational learning needs, determine skills gaps and plan effective learning programmes that support both learning development and organisational goals. Instructional design models, learning styles, delivery methods and high quality learning materials including presentations, handouts and eLearning content are also included within the training.
They will understand how to evaluate the success of training using assessments, surveys and programme data and how to interpret this data in terms of results, trends and return on investment. There is a focus on how evidence-based data can be used to enhance future learning programmes and organisational performance.
At the end of the course, you will have the ability to design well-structured L&D programmes, assess the effectiveness of the learning, put forth suggestions to make it better and support to build a continuous learning environment through knowledge sharing and professional growth.
