About this Course
This course is for non-native English speakers who want to advance their careers in the global marketplace. This course will teach you about the job search, application, and interview process in the United States while comparing and contrasting it with the process in your home country. This course will also allow you to explore your global career options while expanding your vocabulary and improving your language skills in order to achieve your professional objectives. The first unit of this course will introduce you to the job application process in the United States and strategies for identifying jobs that match your interests and skills. Unit 2 will walk you through the process of creating a professional-looking resume. In unit 3, you will work on creating a clear and concise cover letter. The final unit focusses on networking and interview skills.
